About Spicanet
An independent ecosystem of software and digital products.
Spicanet is an independent ecosystem of software and digital products. Each product has its own website, its own audience and its own identity. Spicanet is what they share: the same maker, the same standards and the same habit of shipping small things carefully.
Products are designed, built and operated by one product developer, Egor Danilov, from Koh Samui in Thailand. Spicanet has been a working practice since 2015. There is no sales team and no layer between the people who use a product and the person who builds it.
What Spicanet makes
Everything on this site is owned and operated by Spicanet. It spans a few families of products:
| Family | What it looks like |
|---|---|
| Platforms & tools | Software you use to get work done: a CMS runtime, an SEO operations tool, a website service for small businesses, a casual gaming platform and a proxy operations platform. |
| Research & trust | Independent research products that publish their method: broker research, VPN testing and digital-asset due diligence. |
| Travel & places | Guides built around people who are actually there: Bali, Koh Samui and festival trips. |
| Media & community | A drum and bass headquarters, an electronic music imprint and a network of voluntary communities. |
| Money & life | A privacy-first financial workspace for people whose life spans several countries. |
Browse them all in the product catalogue, filter by category, status or platform, or open the blog for release notes and dev-log entries.
How products are built
- Start small. A product begins as the smallest version that is useful on its own.
- Ship with honest labels. Every product carries a status, so you can tell what is live, what is in beta and what is still research.
- Keep the method visible. Research products publish how they work, and sponsored or affiliate content is labelled as such.
- Maintain it. Products are operated by the same person who builds them, so fixes and changes do not wait on a hand-off.
Principles
- Honest statuses. A product marked Beta is still being shaped, and one marked Research may never ship. When something changes, this site changes with it.
- Privacy by default. Collect less, keep it for less time and make deletion easy. See the privacy policy.
- Plain commercial terms. Clear pricing, easy cancellation and a refund route that does not need an argument. See the refund policy.
- Evidence over hype. Research products publish their method, and sponsored or affiliate content is always labelled.
- Small and durable. Fewer moving parts, boring infrastructure and documentation that a stranger can follow.
Two sites, two jobs
spicanet.net is where the products live. It lists what Spicanet owns and operates, and points to each product's own website. It is not a marketplace and does not take payments.
spicanet.dev is the engineering practice: development services and selected work for clients. Client projects are not listed on this site.
Who is behind it
Spicanet is operated by Egor Danilov, an independent product developer based on Koh Samui, Surat Thani, Thailand. The practice publishes short dev-log updates as products change.
